The Never Ending Walks
The Walking Eye is my way of exploring the intersections of human life through my tattered, almost-extinct lenses.

With the blessing and support of my parents, who were kind enough to fulfill my desire for a camera, I began mapping the cityscape of my hometown, Calcutta. Every walk led to another, and the hunger grew like a brewing storm, ready to dismantle everything I thought I knew. Through my lens, I meditated—calmly gazing at reality in fragments. Each day brought a different color, emotion, and story to life.
These walks, along with the new shuffling realities I witnessed, inspired me to pursue a one-year Diploma in Art and Documentary Photography at the University of Madras in 2022. Guided by the masters and the renowned artists of the past, I began to discover my voice and identity in the evolving narratives of visual storytelling. This page is my attempt to showcase those fleeting moments when I felt most alive—in the magical interplay of light and shadow, dancing around the essence of life itself.
